Present Company came on the scene after much anticipation last summer. It is located in the spot once held by Royal Oak which boasted killer happy hour and brunch specials. Its successor would have to fill the void, and Present Company definitely did. Its colorful kitschy decor coupled with La Croix cocktails make it very Instagrammable if that’s your thing. On Tuesdays, they have steak night for $15.95, and on Wednesdays, you get a free pizza with a wine bottle purchase. On a side note, they also have weekend brunch from 11am-4pm.

Revelry on Richmond

Revelry is best known for their extensive craft beer selection, but they offer a lot more than that too. They have a full bar, plenty of TVs for your favorite sports events, and a fun backyard with various games to participate in. They also have nightly specials like steak night Mondays and Whiskey Wednesdays. I enjoy Revelry because while they have all the amenities, it’s not pretentious. It’s an easy going “come as you are” neighborhood bar. Plus, they have extended happy hour on Fridays, and sometimes on a Friday you just don’t want it to end.

While this is technically a wine bar, they do have a full-service bar with all your favorite spirits in a classic cocktail list. For food, they have daily specials like $10 pizzas and wine bottles on Tuesdays and movie night on Fridays.

All the details in Pistolero’s decor are on point. You really feel like you are celebrating the Day of the Dead whenever you walk in.
